CMCO: Permit for Inter-district & Interstate Travel
The Klang Valley, encompassing Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, was put under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) beginning midnight of 13th October for two weeks until 27th October.
While the nation had undergone CMCO before in April, many of us have forgotten the Dos and Don’ts by now. Basically, CMCO is imposed to curb people’s movement. Therefore, it is important to know that crossing districts, let alone state borders, is prohibited, unless one has applied for a permit prior to the trip. For frontliners or those providing essential services, they need to equip themselves with a letter from their employer.

Here is the form to fill in to apply for a permit from the Royal Malaysia Police (Polis Diraja Malaysia).
Stay safe, everyone!
