Children’s Christmas Luncheon @ IHI
Fifteen children from Praise Emmanuel Children’s Home (PECH) in Buntong were treated to a Christmas luncheon hosted by the management of Impiana Hotel Ipoh, at the hotel recently. This was part of the hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to spread a little festive cheer to the less fortunate.
In addition to being feted with a delicious meal especially prepared by Celebrity Chef Volkmar and his capable team, the kids also enjoyed an afternoon of fun where they were entertained by a clown who deftly handled their requests for balloon sculptures. They also participated in games, where there were prizes up for grabs. Entertainment was provided by Au Young Events. Each child had earlier received door gifts of colouring materials and drawing blocks.
Responding to the immediate needs of the home, which provides shelter to abandoned, neglected or orphaned children, Impiana Hotel Ipoh sponsored new mattresses, pillows and bed linens to the establishment.
