Celebrate Deepavali @ Palong Coffee House – Buy 2 Free 1 Buffet Hi-Tea
It’s Deepavali in a couple of days and what does it mean? Curry and spice galore, of course!
So, I have good news for you. For THREE days beginning tomorrow, Palong Coffee House at Kinta Riverfront Hotel, Ipoh, is running a Deepavali food promotion.
On these three days from Nov 9 to 11, buffet hi-tea is only RM34 nett per pax, inclusive of 6% GST and no service charge is imposed.
Even better news, buy two pax and the third person eats for free! Buffet Hi-Tea hours are from 12 noon to 5pm, which means a total of five hours per day to indulge in!
As for the food, it is not all Spices of India – it is more of a Malaysian cuisine with a variety of Malay and Chinese dishes too. Therefore, if you don’t like it hot, there are still other types of food for you.
Obviously, these photos are just from a small selection of the extensive menu with items easily more than sixty.
For salads and appetisers, there will be cucur udang, popiah basah, putu mayam and wadeh while for soups, they are sup ayam delima and rassam.
Meanwhile, the noodle stall serves noodle of the day with accompanying condiments. There will be a choice of either curry laksa, mee rebus, laksa Penang or mee Bandung.
The main courses will have aloo ghobi, tandoori quail bird, fish head curry, dhall sambar, steamed idhli, ayam goreng tepung and ubi rebus, just to name a few.
Wrapping up your meal will be a good assortment of snacks and desserts, washed down with teh tarik or fruit juice.
As you can see, these are just the kind of food to enjoy with your loved ones this Deepavali festive season.
