Bali International Convention Centre (BICC) has embraced and adapted to the new normal, so is ready to welcome the world. This vibrant venue has enhanced its extensive meetings, incentives, conferencing & exhibitions (MICE) repertoire with elevated hygiene and safety standards to bring fresh excitement to the MICE market on the Island of the Gods.  

Expertly managed by The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali and located within a secure beachfront enclave, BICC is an unrivalled venue for global summits attended by heads of state, high-end corporate gatherings, business meetings, board meetings, small-scale presentations, social events, also glittering weddings.  

The centre has risen to the challenges of the new normal and adapted to take things to the next level with virtual site inspections, high-tech event technology and thorough, frequent cleaning plus sanitising, as well as making the most of its 10,000 sqm of space with redefined meeting setups that allow for up to 5 sqm of personal space per participant, meaning attendees can be safe, comfortable and productive.  

Physical distancing setups include theatre, classroom, boardroom, seminar and cluster style, any of which can be adapted to suit guests’ specific needs in up to 26 meeting rooms, 2,700 sqm of exhibition space, the ballroom and auditorium. Enhanced virtual meetings can also be arranged using the high-tech facilities, so participants at BICC can meet with colleagues at home and abroad. Outdoor venues are also available, including the beachfront Temple Garden.

To ensure safety for all, rigorous Cleanliness, Health and Safety protocols are implemented with body temperature checks, ample hand sanitising stations around the premises, clinical sterilisation of chairs & tables, frequent sanitising of high touch points, flow markers to assure physical distancing, and amenities that are sanitised after each use. All associates interacting with guests wear face masks & gloves, and the food handlers are highly trained in safe food preparation and service.

BICC’s renowned catering has also been reviewed and renewed with redesigned coffee break, lunch/dinner options such as grab and go, individually portioned and wrapped food, semi buffet, bento box and plated dishes, all thoughtfully presented and served by BICC staff. Additionally, all facilities are sanitised after every use.
