Art of Speed Malaysia 2024 Wraps Up Successfully

Art of Speed Malaysia 2024: “Stop the Violence” – Malaysia’s biggest celebration of Kustom Kulture spreads love not hate; solidarity without borders.

The 13th Annual Art of Speed (AOS 2024) took place at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS) on 27th & 28th July 2024. Drawing enthusiasts and curious visitors alike, Art of Speed 2024 featured numerous exhibitions of customised vehicles from Malaysia and abroad.

This year’s distinguished guests included:

This year’s Art of Speed Invitational Bike Build Off 2024 showcased the exceptional craftsmanship of ten skilled builders, all vying to impress both the jury and the public. In a unanimous decision, Irwann Cheng from FNG Works emerged victorious, clinching both the jury’s top accolade and the public’s favourite with his stunning RXZ Twin Boss V2. FNG Works took home a RM5,000 cash prize for the public choice and will have their custom bike shipped to Japan for the prestigious 32nd Annual MOONEYES Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2024, as the jury’s chosen winner.

Meanwhile, the 2nd Official Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Malaysia drew fans and collectors of the iconic die-cast brand. AOS 2024 witnessed the unveiling of Malaysia’s first-ever convention-exclusive die-cast model, created by Mattel and introduced alongside Dwayne Vance, Hot Wheels Design Manager – Vehicles.

AOS 2024 also celebrated a unique collaboration with Selangor FC (SFC) to support SFC’s “Stop The Violence” campaign, blending football with the automotive lifestyle. Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari officially launched the collaboration and received a special tour of AOS 2024.

Other AOS 2024 activities over the weekend included:
Roda Rumble 2024 – Two Wheels Gathering & Outdoor Festival supported by Retro Mania
La Cultura – Malaysia’s Chicano Culture Appreciation Gathering, which included a fashion display of Cholo and Chicano style, Dance and DJ show, and more

Departing from the traditional outdoor festival, SoundCircus Takeover made a triumphant return as an indoor spectacle in Hall A. The impressive line-up featured Spider, Gerhana Ska Cinta, Salam Musik, Jemson X Forcesparkbois, Slatan, 53 Universe, among many others.

A perennial favourite, the much-anticipated lucky draw giveaway did not disappoint. On Saturday, the grand prize was a trip for one to the 32nd Annual MOONEYES Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2024 in Japan, won by Fitri Wahyudi B Suparno. Sunday’s highlight was the grand prize of a modified Honda Jazz, a collaboration between AOS and QARTEL TV, which was awarded to Muhammad Farish B Mohd Fadzil.

The Best of Show motorcycle winner received a package trip to the 32nd Annual MOONEYES Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2024 as the Guest of Honour.
