Appreciation Dinner by Perak Furniture Makers & Dealers’ Association
The Perak Furniture Makers & Dealers’ Association threw an appreciation dinner for suppliers, business associates, exhibitors and event organisers of the recent Perak Homex 2012, as well as for media, friends, and other guests.
It was a night for all to eat, drink and be merry, after all the hard work in making Perak Homex 2012, the third Homex furniture exposition held from 6th to 9th December, 2012 at Stadium Indera Mulia, a major success.
Committee members of Perak Homex 2012 were also presented with Certificates of Appreciation, signed by Dato’ Chang Ko Youn, who represented the Perak State Government, and Ipoh City Mayor Dato’ Haji Roshidi bin Haji Hashim. Dato’ Chang was the night’s VIP guest. Perak Homex is the only furniture exposition supported by the state government, Ipoh City Council, as well as the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Federation of Malaysia Manufacturers – Perak Branch, Perak Real Estate & Housing Developers’ Association (REHDA) and Perak Electrical & Radio Dealers’ Association.
At the dinner, two December babies, who are committee members of Perak Furniture Makers & Dealers’ Association, celebrated their birthdays with the night’s guests, followed by a simple cake-cutting ceremony. Although there was entertainment by a professional singer, those who were sporting enough took to the stage for some karaoke fun. The night ended with group singing of Alan Tam’s popular song, “Friends”.
