Announcement: Perak Homex 2015
Over the past several months, I have received numerous enquiries from readers who would like to know when the next furniture exposition in Ipoh be held. Well, the good news is, the wait won’t be long.
Come August 6 to 9, the Perak Furniture Makers & Dealers’ Association will be holding a massive furniture exposition at Stadium Indera Mulia, where consumers can expect to shop from more than 180 exhibitors from the 350 booths that will be set up.
In conjunction with the association’s 42nd anniversary in August, shoppers at this 6th edition of Perak Homex will be offered amazing deals on all items sold as a gesture of appreciation by members of the association.
As usual, for every RM500 purchased, shoppers can participate in a lucky draw where RM40,000 worth of prizes are up for grabs, including a grand prize of RM4,888 cash!
Other prizes to be won are motorcycles, mountain bikes, household electrical appliances and home furniture! Those who make purchases of RM2,500 and RM5,000 will receive food warming containers, making them instant winners.
In addition to shopping for furniture and home furnishings, many activities have been lined up, from children’s colouring contest to feng shui talk.
Renowned feng shui master Professor Chow Siew Yee from the Fan Yang Institute of Fortune Telling & Geomancy will present a special talk on the effects of numerology influencing our lives. This is a golden opportunity to learn about ways to enhance our life’s fortune. This talk is scheduled for Sunday, August 9, 2015, at 3pm.
This year’s Perak Homex will be even more interesting with the Dinosaur Sculpture Art Exhibition, making its first ever appearance in the state. The jungle-themed environment will feature life-sized as well as miniature replica dinosaurs, a great chance for visitors to learn all about the extinct animal.
This educational exhibition will benefit children when they participate in a host of games and activities that are related to the dinosaur. Photography with the replica dinosaurs is encouraged.
Entrance fees for the Dinosaur Sculpture Art Exhibition are RM4 (child) and RM8 (adult) or RM20 (for a family of two adults and two children). Admission to Perak Homex is FREE!
Other than the above, visitors can look forward to shop for properties offered by Kinta Properties.
Consumers should be glad to know that the Perak I.T. Fair will be held concurrently at another section of Stadium Indera Mulia, making this event a must-visit for the entire family! Isn’t that to kill a few birds with one stone?
