AEON Ipoh Station 18 Shopping Centre Grand Launch

After almost three months since AEON Ipoh Station 18 Shopping Centre opened for business, the grand launching ceremony was finally held recently, and it was declared open by HRH Tuanku Sultan Azlan Shah, no less.
The grand launch was a rather simple ceremony, but was made all the more meaningful with the donation of RM10,000 each by AEON’s charity foundation to three welfare institutions, namely Asrama Bintang Rumah Wanita Cacat, Precious Gift Orphanage Society Ipoh and Pertubuhan Baitul Aini. The foundation also donated RM30,000 to Yayasan Sultan Azlan Shah.
After declaring the shopping complex open, the royal couple took time to visit some of the tenants and also the supermarket section, checking out finger food, Japanese food, fruits, and even trying out durians, as you could see from these photos.
AEON Ipoh Station 18 Shopping Centre is built on 17.35 acres of land. It has a total of 165 tenant shops and is one of the largest AEON shopping malls in the country. It is now a major landmark in Ipoh City.
