The grand launch was a rather simple ceremony, but was made all the more meaningful with the donation of RM10,000 each by AEON’s charity foundation to three welfare institutions, namely Asrama Bintang Rumah Wanita Cacat, Precious Gift Orphanage Society Ipoh and Pertubuhan Baitul Aini. The foundation also donated RM30,000 to Yayasan Sultan Azlan Shah.

After declaring the shopping complex open, the royal couple took time to visit some of the tenants and also the supermarket section, checking out finger food, Japanese food, fruits, and even trying out durians, as you could see from these photos.

  1. Went to Nando’s last week, the problem is there was no mobile phone coverage. Seriously hope the management of both Nando’s and AEON Ipoh Station 18 will look into this and rectify this problem as soon as possible.
