3-Day Mahakala Puja & 2017 Chinese New Year Programme @ Thrangu Dharma Retreat Centre

Thrangu Dharma Retreat Centre in Tambun, Ipoh is pleased to announce its programme to welcome the Year of the Rooster. Before the 2016 Lunar calendar comes to a close, a 3-day Mahakala Puja will be performed by Resident Lama, Lama Sangye.

The objective of this puja is to express gratitude to the Dharma Protectors for their protection and compassion this past year, as well as to invoke blessings, peace and greater protection for the coming year.

Devotees are encouraged to bring along their favourite offerings to Mahakala. The three-day Mahakala Puja-cum-Light Offering is from 25th to 27th Jan, 2017, between 4pm to 5pm.

27/01/2017 (Eve of CNY)
11.30pm – Green Tara Puja & Lighting of Green Tara Lamp to welcome the New Year

28/01/2017 (1st Day of CNY)
9.30am – Medicine Buddha & Chenrezig Puja Sadhana
11.30 am – Sang Puja

30/01/2017 (3rd day of CNY)
9am – Hang Longtak

11/02/2017 (15th day – Chap Goh Meh)
10am – Chenrezig Puja
12pm – Complimentary buffet vegetarian lunch is served at the centre
