2015 Sultan Azlan Shah Cup – Match 15 – Malaysia (4) – Canada (1)

Despite knowing that Malaysia will play Canada in the classification match for 5th place on the final day of the tournament, the last Round Robin game must go on.

Cheered on by die-hard fans, Malaysia triumphed over Canada 4-1, pushing until the end although under heavy downpour in the last ten minutes of the game.

Canada, ranked number 15 in the world, and lowest in this tournament, did not give up. It was unfortunate that the Canadians had to play all their earlier games in the heat of the afternoon.

The classification match will be the first game to be competed on the last day, which means both teams do not even have a 24-hour turnaround time to recover.
