WOW Taiwan Arrives in Malaysia – It’s Impossible To Miss!
Over the next three months, 200 e-hailing cars and 12 double-decker buses will take Malaysians on a visual journey to Taiwan as these vehicles travel through Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Kota Kinabalu.

This isn’t just advertising because it’s a celebration of culture, creativity, and connection. Designed by Malaysian illustrator Jayee Lim, the artwork brings together OhBear, Taiwan’s friendly mascot, and Malaysia’s beloved Monkiddo characters for the very first time. Dressed in traditional Malay and Kadazan attire, they tell a story of friendship between two cultures, inviting Malaysians to discover Taiwan in ways that feel both familiar and new.

Each of the three themes is a window into Taiwan’s soul:
Retreat2WOW captures the quiet romance of Alishan, where cherry blossoms bloom against a backdrop of historic railways.
Discover2WOW blends the modern and the natural – Taipei 101 rising high above soothing hot springs and endless hydrangea fields.
Adventure2WOW celebrates the wild beauty of Sanxiantai and Vase Rock, alive with indigenous music and the rhythm of the sea.

At the launch of WOW Taiwan, Taiwanese representatives reminded us that their country’s tourism is about more than sightseeing. It’s about emotion, falling in love with mountain paths, savouring unforgettable flavours at night markets, or finding peace by the sea.

WOW stands for Waves of Wonder. This campaign captures those feelings and shares them on our streets, reminding Malaysians that Taiwan is only a short flight away, waiting to be experienced.

For the next few months, keep your eyes peeled. If you see one of these WOW Taiwan vehicles, take a photo, share the joy online with hashtags #WowTaiwan, #Taiwan, #WavesofWonder, #TaiwanTourismMY, and you might even win exclusive prizes.

Most importantly, let these vibrant designs remind you that adventure is calling, and Taiwan is ready to welcome you. Discover more at Taiwan Tourism MY Facebook Page.
