27th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup 2018 Official Dinner

Six annual development of arts programmes will be introduced in Malaysia under the auspices of Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) and duly named in honour of the late Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah.

This excellent news was announced by AHF Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Tayyab Ikram during the gala dinner of the 27th Sultan Azlan Shah Cup at Casuarina@Meru, Ipoh.

The dinner event was hosted two days before the end of the tournament. It allowed everyone in the hockey fraternity to mingle among themselves, from hockey players to crew members, tournament officials, media, and everyone else involved in the tournament one way or the other.

The evening also provided an opportunity to show appreciation to those who worked hard to make the tournament a success, as well as to exchange gifts between the teams and their hosts.

Hockey umpires and coaches who were in Ipoh to attend short courses at the Raja Ashman Shah Hockey Academy, conducted alongside the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup annually, were also invited to dinner, which was graced by HRH Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah.
