We Love Sketching – Urban Sketchers Ipoh 1st Anniversary Exhibition & Charity Event
Ever since a chance meeting with Dr Lim Su Min of Urban Sketchers Singapore two or three years ago during my trip to the Little Red Dot, I became interested in the movement.
So, when I found out that Urban Sketchers Ipoh is celebrating its first anniversary and hosting an exhibition-cum-charity event, obviously, I had to go and check it out.
Currently held at 15 Clarke Street, a new event space in Ipoh town, there are some eighty art pieces by twenty artists on display. These pieces are for sale. Some have already been sold.
On sale are also postcards. A portion of the proceeds is donated to the Good Shepherd Children’s Home.
To encourage more people to pick up sketching, two workshops are lined up: on 19th and 23rd April. For further information, log on to: https://www.facebook.com/groups/urbansketchersipoh/
