The wedding ceremony was conducted at the temple hall of Kallumalai Arulmigu Sri Subramaniar, or known locally as Gunung Cheroh Temple.

It was steep in traditional Hindu rituals where the bridal couple sought the blessings of the deities in their union: physical, mental and spiritual.

“We pay homage to the Supreme Shiva – Shakthi
We look to Chandran, the Moon, the Benevolent One to nourish our Lives.
We ask to Agni, unswerving Witness, glorious Purifier,
to be attendant upon this union today.”

The ceremony lasted for 1.5 hours – a vegetarian dinner was served to guests thereafter.
