Galeri Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi

This public gallery of the fifth Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, was launched in October, 2012. It's located just next to his office, on Level 9, Menara Prisma Persiaran Perdana, Precinct 3, Putrajaya. As far as I know, this gallery is supposed to be temporary as there are just too many mementos ... continue reading »

Equestrian Park Putrajaya

I was ecstatic when we visited the Putrajaya Equestrian Park or Taman Ekuestrian Putrajaya (TEP) where we got to go on horse-riding. Horses are amazing animals, though they could be quite scary. There are a total of sixty horses at this equestrian park, where 49 are owned by the park while the rest have owners ... continue reading »

Putrajaya Seafood Restaurant

Putrajaya Seafood Restaurant is one of the restaurants owned by Tai Thong Group. This lakeside establishment is located in the midst of Putrajaya's Botanical Gardens. Putrajaya Shangri-La

Putrajaya Shangri-La is said to be a "boutique hotel", though it doesn't fit the definition of "boutique hotel" as stipulated by the Ministry of Tourism, Malaysia. In fact, it is a five-star rated hotel, and certainly doesn't look like one. However, it is a retreat within a garden sanctuary atop a hill. The hotel has ... continue reading »

Cruise Tasik Putrajaya

Some three months after visiting Putrajaya, which was the starting point of Malaysia Tourism Hunt 2012, I was back in the Garden City of Tomorrow again, for its lake cruise. Putrajaya looked very different when viewed from the lake during the day, but I preferred the night cruise because of its multitude of lights. Nevertheless, I ... continue reading »
