Greentree Residences, Ipoh

Greentree Residences, along Jalan Raja Nazrin Shah (formerly Gopeng Road) is a new luxury residential development in Ipoh. I read about this 3-storey link villa with individual lifts in the papers awhile ago so of course, the busybody me must go and have a look. Viewing show houses is my hobby, if you don’t know yet! Unfortunately, the show house was closed. Apparently, we need to call for appointment.

All is not lost. I still managed to get photos of Greentree Residences for you, but only the exterior, garden and the ground floor of the house. SIGH! I would have loved to see the lift. Lifts in houses like stairlifts and home elevators are not uncommon in the West; these greatly enhance the lives of mobility impaired people. In Malaysia, it’s still luxury. From what I understand, the developer is giving homeowners first five years of free maintenance on the lifts.
