Although The Pinnacle @ 20th was opened two years ago, it now spots a refreshed look. Expanding its culinary offerings from just daily buffet breakfast, a Superpower Sunday Brunch was introduced last Sunday, which allows guests to dine on an amazing variety of international buffet spread as they enjoy the view, ambience and company of family and friends.

Bucking the trend of many hotels that offer a lighter meal for weekend brunch, MH Hotel Ipoh has created something different, yet with great value – by offering a FULL international buffet spread to indulge in for a total of 3.5 hours.

This is because for most people, Sunday is not only a rest day but the only day of the week to spend quality time with family or close friends, and there is no better way to do so than over a wonderful meal. The bonus is in the venue. This could easily be the place where many sweet memories are created.

Today’s photos were all taken last Sunday, during the first Superpower Sunday Brunch Buffet. As you can see, there is a wide variety of dishes, from European to Malay, Chinese, Indian, Japanese, local and more. It’s a fusion kind of meal that would cater to many different palates, as shown in these photos of signature dishes and chef’s recommendations.

Headed by Executive Chef Ramudu and Sous Chef Sayed, supported by a dedicated team of F&B staff, these are only part of the extensive menu. However, expect the menu to be tweaked each week, depending on popularity.

One of the main highlights of this buffet is its Seafood On Ice. As we know, Seafood On Ice is a premium item on the menu that is usually only available for dinner. If you fancy scallop, tiger prawn, flower clam and other seafood during lunch (or brunch), you know where to head to. Hint: The Pinnacle @ 20th.

Then there are action stalls, which is always fascinating to guests to see how the food is prepared: Gourmet Pasta Station, Sweet Action Counter and Chef on Action are just three that I can recall.

  1. Looking at these on a Thursday morning makes me wanna travel to Ipoh on weekend to try out. The food look so tempting and yummy! Thanks for the informative sharing 🙂

  2. I knew this is in Malaysia when I saw the pictures. I scrolled down to confirm. Hehe. I love the fried rice. I’m not sure if it’s the same but we went to Kota Kinabalu last June. Food was cheap and good.

  3. Variety of choices offered by MH Hotel. I even can enjoy Japanese cuisine, too. Food presentation is clean.
