Singgahsana Nostalgia Ramadan Preview at TUI BLUE The Haven Ipoh
Ramadan is about pause and presence, as well as the quiet joy of coming together at day’s end.
The holy month is tentatively expected to begin on 19th February 2026. TUI BLUE The Haven Ipoh will usher in the season with its Singgahsana Nostalgia Ramadan Buffet, an experience that places meaning and memory at the centre of the table.

From 20th February until 18th March 2026, diners are invited to break fast (buka puasa) nightly from 7pm to 10pm at the resort’s celebrated Cuisines restaurant, a destination that has long been synonymous with thoughtful dining in Ipoh.
Singgahsana Nostalgia reflects a return to flavours that once defined festive evenings: dishes cooked slowly, shared generously, and remembered long after the plates were cleared.

This theme is not about indulgence for its own sake, but about honouring culinary heritage; the tastes that shaped family traditions, village feasts, and communal Iftar gatherings. It is nostalgia presented with grace.
An Award-Winning Setting by the Lake
The lakeside Cuisines offers a dining atmosphere that feels both expansive and intimate. Consistently recognised for excellence, the restaurant holds the distinction of being ranked #1 out of 528 restaurants in Ipoh on TripAdvisor.

During Ramadan, the space is carefully arranged to welcome approximately 550 to 600 guests comfortably, ensuring that even at full capacity, the ambience remains unhurried. Here, conversations flow easily, and meals are enjoyed at a natural pace, just as they should be during Ramadan evenings.
Unlike sprawling buffets that overwhelm with sheer volume, TUI BLUE The Haven Ipoh adopts a more considered approach. One carefully structured menu, served consistently throughout the Ramadan period, features around 60 items, each selected for its relevance and flavour profile.

This permanence allows the kitchen team to refine each dish daily, maintaining quality and balance. Ingredients are sourced fresh, flavours are kept clean and authentic, and the reliance on MSG is consciously excluded to allow natural tastes to shine.

A Balanced Spread for Iftar
The buffet is thoughtfully paced, guiding diners through a satisfying Iftar journey that includes:

Signature Dishes That Define the Experience
Certain dishes have become inseparable from The Haven’s Ramadan identity. A highlight many anticipate without fail is the resort’s signature Sup Gearbox, revered for its robust broth and generous portions: a dish that feels particularly rewarding after a long fast.

Equally notable is the kambing panggang, prepared with care and restraint. Tender, aromatic, and indulgent without being overpowering, it remains a favourite among Muslim diners seeking something special yet familiar.
This Ramadan, also look out for the deeply flavoured Itik Salai and the rich, slow-braised Rendang Tok, both prepared with patience and precision to allow their spices to fully develop.
Live Cooking Stations
Enhancing the buffet experience are four live specialty food stations, where chefs prepare dishes on the spot. These stations bring warmth and movement to the dining space, offering:

The sight and aroma of food prepared live add an engaging layer to the evening, reinforcing the sense of care behind each plate.
Limited-Time Offer
For those who enjoy securing their plans early, the resort offers a 15% early booking incentive for reservations and payments completed 14 days prior to dining.
