The best of Perak’s culinary delights were presented by top eleven hotels in Ipoh during the launch of Perak Food Festival 2015 at Ibis Styles Ipoh (Hotel).
The month-long Festival, which kick-started at Dataran Klah in Sungai Klah, Sungkai on April 30, was also celebrated at Pesta Pinji from May 1 to 3, with a sub-event called Pinji Food Fest.
At this Signature Dish event organised by the Malaysian Association of Hotels (Perak Chapter), participating hotels were MH Hotel Ipoh, Tower Regency Hotel, Impiana Hotel Ipoh, Casuarina@Meru, Weil Hotel, Kinta Riverfront Hotel, Excelsior Hotel, Syeun Hotel, Lost World of Tambun, and of course, the venue host Ibis Styles Ipoh.

As you can see, chefs from all these hotels and their kitchen crew cooked up a storm to bring us this diverse spread of the best of Perak’s food. It was a mouth-watering event, to say the least.
Apart from savouring this gastronomic fare, guests were also entertained with cultural dances throughout the meal.
The next programme to follow in this celebration of the best food found in Perak is a heritage -themed food event which will be held in Taiping. It is being organised by the Department of National Heritage.
This Festival wraps up with a food trail organised by Tourism Malaysia, which will take participants from Kuala Kangsar to Taiping, Ipoh and Tanjung Malim.
In conjunction with Perak Food Festival 2015, which is organised in line with Malaysia Year of Festival, this year’s national tourism theme; a host of food related activities is scheduled throughout the State of Perak, including special festival menus, discounts, and great meal offers.
