The above four photos were taken from the Tashi Delek Collection booth. Most of their items are imported from Tibet. The clothes, bags and accessories are so colourful, it takes a bold woman to carry them off. This company donates 20% of their nett profit to a charity foundation; this time to Persatuan Kebajikan Ruman Orang Kurang Upaya (a handicap children’s welfare home) in Jalan Kampar, Ipoh.
This DIY Paint by Number art (above) is also a product brought in by Tashi Delek Collection. This stood out for me. According to the proprietor, this form of painting was first invented in France. It was used as a therapy for people suffering from depression. Painting by number helped these patients to stay focused. Within a year, their mental health improved. This art form was then introduced to schools. Painting by number has since been commercialised by Chinese manufacturers and they now come in more than ten sizes. This piece of art above is priced at RM99.90.
