5th Perak Education and Job Expo 2014
The 2-day 5th Perak Education and Job Expo 2014 went underway yesterday morning at Stadium Indera Mulia. Organised by the Lions Club of Ipoh Host, with Kelab Anak Malaysia Batu Gajah and PenExpo Events Sdn. Bhd., the expo targets to attract at least 20,000 job seekers, 5,000 more than last year’s turnout.
Launched by Perak State Industry, Investment and Corridor Development Committee chairman Dato’ Mohammad Zahir Khalid, the expo has more than 50 booths set up by various institutes of higher learning and prospective employers.
Visitors would also be able to gain valuable knowledge via educational talks by experts in their respective fields. Moreover, there’s an iPad Mini up for grabs in a daily lucky draw for visitors.
An estimated of 1000 jobs are being offered over these two days, so it is a good opportunity for job seekers to try to clinch their dream jobs.
