Seafood Delights Christmas Feast @ Palong Coffee House
Christmas is going to be an exciting time at Kinta Riverfront Hotel, thanks to the gigantic Christmas tree and the snow-effect where visitors can enjoy a white Christmas even in tropical Ipoh.
Anyway, if you have yet to decide where to celebrate the joyous occasion this year, here is another option for you, if you are in Ipoh then.
The hotel’s Palong Coffee House is offering a mix menu of seafood delights this season, alongside a fusion of Asian and Western cuisines.
Whether you opt for Christmas Eve dinner or Christmas Day Hi-tea, you will get to enjoy a buffet line of more than 100 dishes, including appetisers, main courses as well as desserts.
Photos shown here are from part of the Christmas Eve buffet dinner menu to give you an idea of what to expect.
As you can see, the appetisers are set to perfection with a variety of seafood selection prepared in “cold style” and in “ice bar”.
Other available courses are roasted turkey breast decorated with fruits, smoked salmon with lemon, beef balls with mushroom, seared tuna and potato salad, marinated mini octopus, poached tiger prawns, New Zealand mussels and more.
And then there are the carvery and grill stations which serve marinated chicken wings and turkey, herb spice lamb cutlet and roasted lamb leg, among others.
Look out for the Live Sushi Station too and pick your choice of maki rolls and sushi. I can tell this will be popular among diners!
