Press Conference: Mutiara Perak Awards 2012

Attended the press conference on the inaugural Mutiara Perak Awards 2012, at Kinta Riverfront Hotel & Suits, Ipoh. The presentation of these awards is by the Perak State Government, in conjunction with International Women’s Day, which is celebrated worldwide on 8th March, annually.

Nomination for the awards has closed; a total of 67 nominations were received, for 26 award categories. The Award Selection Panel consists of:

Who are the awardees? The list was finalised on 23rd April but would only be revealed to us on 29th April! Bah! 1,200 guests are expected to attend the gala dinner, to witness the momentous event.
