National Horse Show 2010 Expo & Carnival @ Perak Turf Club, Ipoh

If you have been following my blog, you would know that the Perak Turf Club is hosting the National Horse Show. Well, the exposition and carnival of the National Horse Show began on the 3rd of December, 2010 at the Perak Turf Club. Activities have been lined up, including horse breed display, farriery demonstrations, face painting, horse carriage rides, pony rides, mechanical bull rides, magic shows, sand art, Country & Western band performance and clown walkabouts. Just like other carnivals, there are stalls for fun games like “horse target”, “hat trick” and other games with a horse theme.

The National Horse Show is not only a place of fun and games, it is also a place to get close to horses and to learn about them. As mentioned, there is a breed display where we get to know the many different breeds of horses. We also learn about the many different types of horseshoes at the farriery section.

Besides these, I understand there are other family games and fun competitions, treasure hunt and something totally unrelated to horses, snake show! Even as the Expo and Carnival are being held, national equestrian competitions are still on-going. In short, there is something for everyone at the National Horse Show.
