NASA’s Perseverance Rover Mars Landing

Join NASA to participate online as the Perseverance Rover lands on Mars.

NASA’s Mars 2020 Perseverance rover is nearing its new planetary home. The spacecraft has begun its approach to the Red Planet and on Feb. 18, 2021, Perseverance will blaze through Mars’ atmosphere at about 12,100 mph (19,500 kph), touching down gently on the surface about seven minutes later.

All resources, participation, and registration are FREE. Register to let NASA know that you’re virtually participating.

While there is neither physical ticket for online participation nor access to in-person activities, register to participate from your spot in the universe! Registrants will receive a landing stamp for their virtual passport following landing. Registration will provide communications about additional virtual participation opportunities and any schedule changes. Please note, if you were registered with NASA’s virtual guest programme for the Mars 2020 launch, you do not need to re-register for landing.

The use of the NASA logo or identifiers without permission of the Office of Communications is prohibited by federal statute and regulations, the violation of which may include fines, imprisonment, or both.
