Launch of Perak Homex & Wedding Walk 2013

The largest ever exposition in Perak will be held from Nov 14 to 17 at Stadium Indera Mulia, Ipoh, from 10am to 10pm.

Held for the fourth year, Perak Homex will, this time, incorporate Wedding Walk 2013, where there will be twenty booths taken up by bridal houses not only in Ipoh, but also Penang and Kuala Lumpur, displaying wedding attire, accessories and bridal beauty products, among others.

Perak Homex 2013 will offer 400 of sales and exhibition booths, some 20% more than last year’s exposition.

Visitors to this lifestyle exposition can expect to see a diverse range of household merchandise, and of course, wedding necessities from Wedding Walk, at attractive prices.

Sub-events planned for the exposition include feng shui talk, cooking demonstration and children’s colouring contest.

This year, 85,000 people are expected to visit the exposition, though the estimated number is some 130,000. Goodie bags will be given to visitors, who will also stand a chance to win a tablet computer at the end of the day. No purchase required.

As for shoppers, every RM500 spent entitles one chance at the grand lucky draw, where one lucky shopper gets to drive home a Perodua Viva car.

Other prizes given away in the lucky draw are home electrical and electronic appliances, and household items. Total worth of these prizes exceed RM80,000. Terms and conditions may apply.

Perak Homex & Wedding Walk 2013 was launched by Ipoh Mayor Dato’ Roshidi Hashim, in a by-invitation only event. During the same function, Dato’ Gan Tack Kong, President of Perak Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers, was appointed as adviser to the Perak Furniture Makers & Dealers’ Association.
