Langkawi Sunset Dinner Cruise

When I informed friends that I just returned from a holiday to Langkawi, one of the first questions they asked was, “Did you go out to sea?” You bet I did, and more, and I have saved the best for last.
The highlight of my 4D/3N luxurious vacation to Langkawi was a sunset dinner cruise on-board the Seasation, which is owned and operated by Tropical Charters Sdn. Bhd., a fully-licensed and insured boat charter company. This is a twin-deck catamaran that we chartered for three hours, leaving the jetty at Awana Porto Malai Langkawi at about 5pm, and headed out to the sea, just in time for sunset.
We also took the opportunity to enjoy the salt water Jacuzzi, which is actually a huge net thrown into the waters and dragged by the boat. It is a safe, and most relaxing, water activity; even children and those who do not know how to swim, could enjoy. Look out for jelly fishes, though!
During the cruise, a sumptuous BBQ dinner was served on-board, amidst a free-flow of cold drinks of our choice, with music playing in the background. As you could see from these photos, we had so much fun! By the time we returned to the jetty, it was 8pm. Three hours passed by so quickly, just like that!
Earlier in my series of posts on my Langkawi vacation, I mentioned that you have to subscribe to Gaya Travel Magazine. Why? This Sunset Dinner Cruise is priced at RM260 per person, but with a cut-out coupon from Gaya Travel Magazine, you can enjoy this cruise at only RM120 per person! That’s more than 50% discount! You don’t want to miss out on the fun, do you?
One thing I would like to stress that no matter what water sport you indulge in, only go with companies that are fully-licensed and insured!
