The highly anticipated Malaysia International Boat Show (MYBOS) 2025 Langkawi officially embarked on its journey with an exciting launch at Armada Hall, Marina Putrajaya today.
Scheduled to be hosted from 21st until 24th May 2025 at the Langkawi Royal Yacht Club in conjunction with the Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA), the event is set to be a defining moment for Malaysia’s maritime industry, drawing global players, enthusiasts, and luxury brands.
Co-organised by the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) alongside key ministries such as the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture (MOTAC) and the Ministry of Transport, MYBOS 2025 aims to highlight Langkawi’s growing prominence as a premier boating destination.
Strategic Alliances for a Global Impact
The launch event witnessed the signing of three pivotal Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), reinforcing key partnerships that will shape MYBOS 2025’s international appeal.
Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) – Strengthening Langkawi’s position as a world-class yachting hub by serving as co-organiser.
SAIL Malaysia – Bringing expertise in nautical tourism and rally events as the official Show Partner.
Radzuan Radziwill – Elevating the luxury experience as the Official Luxury Wear Partner, merging fashion with the opulent yachting lifestyle.
Langkawi: A Hub for Nautical Excellence
Officiating the event, YBhg Datuk Haslina Binti Abdul Hamid, CEO of LADA, highlighted Langkawi’s role in completing the “Yachting Triangular” connecting Malaysia (Langkawi), Thailand (Phuket), and Indonesia (Sabang).
This initiative aligns with Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) efforts to enhance maritime tourism, including business opportunities across the region.

Dato’ Mohd Radzi Manan, Chairman of MYBOS Events, shared his vision for MYBOS 2025, positioning it as a catalyst for growth in Malaysia’s maritime, besides luxury yachting industries.
“With Langkawi’s UNESCO Global Geopark status and prime location in the Andaman Sea, MYBOS 2025 presents an unparalleled opportunity to showcase innovation, connect with international industry leaders, and solidify Malaysia’s standing in the global maritime arena. Hosting it alongside LIMA 2025 further amplifies its significance,” he stated.

MYBOS 2025 is expected to attract a stellar lineup of exhibitors, including Malaysia Yacht Support Services, Pen Marine, Nova Nautical, Simpson Marine, Tropical Charters, Platinum Charters, Pangkor Marina, Flexiteek, and Garmin, among others.
