Ipoh Mini Zoo
Not many people are aware that there is a “mini zoo” in Ipoh. The resident animals are just two ostriches and five deer.
While I think it’s a good idea to bring animals to the public instead of attracting them to the zoo, in my opinion, the compound of the Veterinary Services Department Perak with a fence as enclosure and a zinc awning for shade, is the worst place for the animals to live.
As you know, the weather in Malaysia is extremely unfriendly and I won’t be surprised if one of these animals die of heat stroke one day.
Anyway, I have some interesting facts of the ostrich and deer for you.
