The Great British Circus Splashes Back into Ipoh with “Legend of the Sea”

It’s official! The Great British Circus Malaysia is making waves once again in Ipoh! After a fantastic run in 2023 at AEON Falim, they’re back with a brand-new show, a bigger setup, and a story that dives deep into the magical underwater world.

The Great British Circus has long been celebrated for its ethical approach to entertainment: no animal acts, just awe-inspiring human performances. Acrobatics, clowning, singing, dancing, and daredevil displays are all part of the package, performed by an international cast of circus artistes.

This is live theatre, stunts, music, and magic all rolled into a 2-hour-long thrilling experience.

A Water Circus Spectacular

This season’s production is a dazzling new creation titled “Legend of the Sea”. It is a spectacular tale that unfolds in the mythical kingdom of Atlantis. The story follows Calypso, the Queen of Atlantis, as she protects a powerful pearl that holds the fate of her underwater realm.

But danger is never far away. Enter a band of mischievous pirates, Captain Jack, his crafty right-hand man Pablo, and their wild crew, who are determined to steal the pearl for themselves. Expect twists, turns, and plenty of mischief as the audience is drawn into a fully interactive adventure.

The audience even plays a key role in restoring order in Atlantis by forcing Captain Jack to return the pearl to Calypso. Don’t be surprised if you’re asked to join the fun!
