Disinfection & Sanitisation in Ipoh to Break the Chain of COVID-19 Infection

The Ipoh City Council (Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh) and Hazmat Team from the Fire & Rescue Department (BOMBA) are working closely to carry out disinfection and sanitisation works in public areas in the city.

Some of the places deep cleaned included transportation hubs such as Ipoh railway station, Sultan Azlan Shah Airport, Terminal Meru Raya and Sri Maju bus station. Other areas tackled so far were hospitals, bus stands and ATM machines.

This disinfection/sanitisation is an on-going programme to include more places. Hopefully, this effort will break the chain of infection of COVID-19, at least in Ipoh. Meanwhile, let’s all do our part to #StayAtHome and #DudukDiamDiam.
