Deepavali Open House @ Tambun
Deepavali may have been two weeks ago but an open house is an open house. So when the Barisan Nasional Tambun Parliamentary Constituency held a Deepavali open house this morning at the school hall of SMK Tambun in Taman Perpaduan Indah, it was time to eat and be happy. It was a combined open house with BN component parties and political allies.
Guests to the open house were greeted by Second Finance Minister of Malaysia Dato’ Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah, the Tambun Member of Parliament and his wife, and other political representatives and community leaders. Children and the elderly also received “lì xì” or “lucky money” from Datin Seri Fauziah Kamarudin, YB Husni’s wife.
The two-hour do attracted a few thousand mainly Tambun residents, who were seen enjoying their curries, tosai, masala vada and kacang putih, from 10am onwards!
