Every day, except Wednesday, from 12 noon to 2.30pm, diners get to enjoy an à la carte lunch menu with a selection of four Chef’s Specials at Symphony Café, the coffee house of Symphony Suites Hotel.
These photos I have included today are all from this Chef’s Specials menu. They are Cantonese Fried Kuey Teow, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Nasi Goreng Kampung and Clay Pot Tandoori. At RM18 nett per item, it comes with a complimentary house mocktail.
According to hotel General Manager David Tsen, this menu is not unfamiliar to many people and these common dishes are available at many eating places in Ipoh, but the reason that these have been included in the Chef’s Specials is because the capable chefs at Symphony Café have striven to serve them better than anywhere else.
David continued, “This is a simple menu that helps diners quickly decide their choice of lunch, without having to go through the numerous items on our regular à la carte menu.”
