Thinking of ways to fill your school holidays with interesting programmes and activities? Mark your calendar, as the creative platform in the Klang Valley known as Riuh is coming to Ipoh, over two days on 17th and 18th August.
The programme, known as Sama Sama Riuh, will be hosted at Kinta River Walk from 4pm until midnight on Saturday and from 11am ’til 6pm on Sunday.
Riuh, working closely with Tourism Perak and Sama-Sama Perak, has organised 21 successful similar programmes in the Klang Valley. This is the first time this platform for artists and artisans will be hosting an initiative away from home.
Throughout Sama Sama Riuh, which is Sama-Sama Perak’s second anniversary, to be showcased are art & craft projects, beauty products, apparel, visual arts and more, comprising a total of 80 vendors.
To be launched by Perak Menteri Besar YAB Dato’ Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, this multi-cultural event will see a line-up of fun activities, including performances, workshops, and bazaars. Of course, who can exclude the local food fare?
So, no second thoughts! Just make your way to Kinta River Walk on 17th AND 18th August, because that’s the place to be that weekend.
