4th Perak Education Expo 2013
The 4th Perak Education Expo 2013, or PenExpo 2013, in short, is currently underway at Stadium Indera Mulia Ipoh. Guest-of-honour, Dato’ Chang Ko Youn, who launched the expo, praised the organisers for returning to Perak with the exposition for the fourth year, despite the many challenges faced.
PenExpo is a one-stop-centre for students to shop for courses to pursue. Here is also where they can obtain career counselling, which is very important when considering which course to take up, now that there are so many more courses offered compared to the old days. Students today are seriously spoilt for choice when it comes to education.
Education is an instrument of social engineering and it increases the quality of life. In Malaysia, since the 1960s, the Malaysian government has given priority to education, ensuring that no child is left behind. This greatly increased the literacy rate in Malaysia.
Besides bringing convenience to students, with the many exhibitors, an increase in 40% compared to the previous expo, students can also sit in to the many talks given throughout the two-day fair, from internet safety to résumé-writing, grooming, and even guidance on applying for PTPTN loan.
Head over to Stadium Indera Mulia now if you intend to pursue tertiary education. There are almost 60 booths, that will benefit mostly SPM and STPM candidates.
