Selangor Culture Cove, Batu Caves
Selangor Culture Cove, which was officially launched on 12th April, 2007 by the then Minister of Tourism, Y.B. Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, is just a stone’s throw away from the Batu Caves Hindu temple. It is no surprise that Selangor Culture Cove, which is open daily from 9am – 5pm, is closed during annual Thaipusam celebrations, due to traffic congestion.
Bringing together timeless Malaysian traditions and heritage, visitors are also able to witness cross-cultural dance performances, batik painting, henna body art and decorative soap making, among others.
Also, do check out the picturesque garden trail that surrounds Selangor Culture Cove, where you will stumble upon exotic herbs, fragrant spices and tropical fruits.
While Selangor Culture Cove puts up for sale classic souvenirs like hand-painted batik, visitors get to indulge in creating their own unique chocolates, with assistance of trained staff, to take home sweet memories of their visit to Malaysia.
