“Once Upon A Time” Celebrity Gala Premier In Ipoh
The much anticipated Chinese New Year movie by Jack Lim (Ah Beng) and directed by Silver, “Once Upon A Time” (皇宫灿烂) premiered in Ipoh on Sunday evening. The movie was presented by World Trend Corporate Sdn. Bhd.
It was no ordinary premier as this celebrity gala premier was attended by the main cast of the movie. The guest-of-honour was Raja DiHilir Perak, HRH Raja Jaafar bin Raja Muda Musa.
Fans packed the lobby of TGV AEON Station 18 as early as 6pm, hoping to catch a glimpse of their favourite local movie stars. I could recognise some of them from the earlier meet-the-fans session at Hyundai 3S Centre along Jalan Lahat. One fan told me that she had followed Jack Lim and his fellow stars on their Kuala Lumpur tour.
The glittering event wrapped up as HRH Raja Jaafar, the cast and lucky fans adjourned to the cinema hall for the movie. Later in the night, the stars proceeded to S.O.S. (Sensation of Sound) to party the night away. Their work is finally done!
