Miss Tourism International 2025: A World of Beauty and Culture in Malaysia
Malaysia is set to host one of the most anticipated global pageants this October — the Miss Tourism International 2025 World Final. Organised by D’Touch International, the event will take place from 4th to 19th October, with the grand coronation night scheduled for 18th October at Resorts World Genting, Pahang.
Showcasing Malaysia to the World
Themed “Bringing the World to Malaysia”, the pageant does more than crown beauty queens. It provides an international stage to celebrate tourism, cultural diversity, and friendship. Since its beginnings in the early 1990s, the Miss Tourism International pageant has grown into a respected global brand, with its titles recognised in over 120 countries.
This year, delegates from 40 nations will embark on a journey that highlights the best of Malaysia. From cultural visits and charity work to appearances at shopping hotspots, they will experience the country’s warm hospitality while playing their part in the lead-up to the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.
Five Crowns, One Spectacular Evening
What sets this pageant apart is its tradition of awarding five international titles in one night. On the glittering stage of the Genting International Showroom, the following crowns will be contested:
* Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International (30th edition)
* Miss Tourism International (28th edition)
* Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International (25th edition)
* Miss Tourism Global (21st edition)
* Miss Tourism Metropolitan International (19th edition)
Alongside these, special awards such as Dreamgirl of the Year International (21st edition) and Miss South East Asia Tourism Ambassadress (16th edition) will also be presented, adding to the excitement of the evening.
From City Vibes to Highland Charm
The pageant journey begins in Kuala Lumpur, where the contestants will stay at Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil. Their itinerary includes cultural tours, sponsor engagements, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes.
The adventure continues at Resorts World Genting, where delegates will enjoy the cool highlands, exciting attractions, and entertainment leading up to the world final.
The grand night itself promises a two-hour showcase of national costumes, evening gowns, and cultural performances, with Genting’s talented dance troupe adding flair to the occasion.
A Night of Prestige and Elegance
The event will welcome Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Laksamana Selangor Darul Ehsan, His Highness Prince Sulaiman Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj, as the Guest of Honour, together with 500 distinguished guests from around the globe, including corporate figures, international delegations, and families.
