Kumarsutra Nationwide Tour 2017 Kicks Off in Ipoh
Singapore’s biggest entertainment sensation-cum-stand-up comedian extraordinaire, Kumar, is in the country and has kicked off his 7-city nationwide tour last night with a rousing, laughter-infused 2-hour performance in Ipoh!
The tour, aptly named ‘Kumarsutra’, will continue in Penang tonight followed by Melaka, Miri, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru this September and October.
As a fan of Kumar but only had the chance to watch him on unofficial videos uploaded to YouTube, getting to watch this comedy genius live on stage has always been on my bucket list. To see him perform in my hometown, Ipoh, was definitely a dream come true.
Anyway, whether you are a fan or not, there is no harm in having a good time courtesy of Kumar, where his jokes, many of which are new materials, are guaranteed to tickle your funny bone so much, you will probably laugh for days after the show.
Secure your tickets as soon as possible because I have news that the KL show is already sold out, unless Kumar decides to stay for another night. Trust me, it will be worth your every sen!
Whatever the case, just grab the tickets and don’t miss the chance to watch Kumar live on stage in Malaysia. Otherwise, you will have to go to Singapore to catch him, and we know we don’t really want to cross the Causeway, not when the Ringgit is so weak.
