Evoke Nostalgic Memories Through Ramadan Kareem Lambaian Desa Iftar Menu
Ramadan is always a special month, whereby Muslim families make an effort to break fast together every evening for Iftar.
Let’s make this a Ramadan to remember when you ‘buka puasa’ (break fast) with your loved ones over a most scrumptious feast of the best of traditional kampung fare at MH Hotel Ipoh.
With the theme ‘Ramadan Kareem Lambaian Desa’, diners stand to enjoy approximately a hundred items every evening, including eleven main courses, and six live action stalls.
The culinary team at MH Hotel, headed by Chef Mohd. Khamizan Bin Mohamad Jafar who brings with him years of experience from Kuala Lumpur, has prepared three extensive menus, to be served on rotation basis every three days.
Some of the signature dishes to expect include Grilled Lamb Shoulder, Asam Pedas Ikan Pari, Nenas Masak Lemak, Ikan Talang (salted fish) and Ayam Rendang Minang.
According to Chef Mohd. Khamizan, the menus have been prepared to evoke nostalgic memories for diners, some of whom may not be able to ‘balik kampung’ just yet. “To break fast at MH Hotel this Ramadan, it feels just like observing Iftar with elders back in their hometown,” he said.
Those who love an extra kick in their meal will surely welcome the variety of curries and spicy dishes, which is a slight notch up from ordinary spice level.
Ramadan Kareem Lambaian Desa is hosted at MH Hotel Ipoh’s Grand Ballroom from today until 12th May, 2021, strictly in adherence to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as stipulated by the National Security Council (NSC).
Price per adult is RM49.90 nett (early bird promotion) and per child / senior citizen is RM39.90 nett.
