Besides free breakfast, everyone who participated in this redemption exercise, about 70 people in total, was also entitled to a free bottle of Knife brand soy sauce (500ml) and was eligible to join the lucky draw, whereby five hampers of Knife brand products worth RM50 each were given away as prizes. In addition, winners also got to take a photo with Angela Chan Mei Ngor, which was then autographed by her.
It was a fun–filled, informal morning with a celebrity, and it was repeated in the afternoon at Lucky Restaurant along Jalan Pasir Putih, Ipoh, where loyal readers of China Press could redeem, similarly with three headers of the newspaper dated 14th to 20th November, 2011, a bowl of seafood porridge for lunch!
