BMS Organics, SkyAvenue, Resorts World Genting

I have known about BMS Organics for years as they have two outlets in Ipoh – one in Ipoh Garden South and another in Taman Sri Ampang.

Somehow, I have turned my nose up on them all this while, possibly because they have the word “organic” in their name, so that did not appeal to me.

Well, my perception on BMS Organics has changed after my impromptu lunch at their outlet in SkyAvenue. Yes, it certainly took me that long and far to realise that we do have something good at our doorstep!

Clean eating doesn’t have to be boring, as shown by BMS Organics. Undoubtedly, they are not the one and only vegetarian eatery chain in the country but BMS Organics have taken it to another level altogether.

Using 70% organic vegetables and natural ingredients to prepare their food, expect your dishes to be low in salt, sugar and calories, but high in energy, fibre and nutrients.

Be assured that there are no MSG added, no GMO, no artificial colouring, no chemical preservative and no microwave cooking. I can honestly say that I have never eaten such a healthy meal before, not even those that I prepare myself.

Just looking at the names of the dishes, you can easily tell that they are what your doctor would approve. Was it any wonder what a hearty lunch I had, by myself? Yes, these were all for me alone!

Since that hearty meal, I have been a new convert to healthy eating, with the understanding that clean doesn’t necessarily mean tasteless.
