Aliya Hotel, Klang

Opened for business about a year ago, Aliya Hotel is a three-star shariah-compliant hotel situated in the heart of Klang. If you do not know yet, Klang is the royal town of Selangor, so it is steep in history and heritage.

Although marketed as a business hotel, it is an ideal choice for leisure travellers as well, due to its strategic location to popular eating and shopping spots of the town.

Also, those who are flying into Malaysia will be relieved to know that the hotel is just 30 minutes from Subang Skypark Terminal and 45 minutes drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

My two-night stay at Aliya Hotel was more than pleasant. While some people may be worried about the hotel being Islamic, there really shouldn’t be any concerns. Just be respectful and take note of your dress code.

Wholly owned by financial institution, Koperasi Pembiayaan Syariah Angkasa Berhad (KOPSYA ANGKASA) and managed by Hillmark International, Aliya Hotel boasts 138 elegantly appointed guest rooms that are spacious and comfortable.

There are eight room categories, from entry-level Superior rooms to the hotel’s most luxurious guest room, Aliya Suite. All rooms are equipped with modern amenities such as coffee and tea making facilities, iron, hair dryer, hot water shower and complimentary WiFi, just to name a few of them.
