22nd SAS Cup 2013: Day 4: Match 1: Australia (3) – Korea (3)
Australia robbed Korea of a win and three points on the table when they scored a goal with two seconds left on the clock. That moment was the most exciting throughout a listless game.
Ric Charlesworth, head coach for Australia, lamented that his boys should have played better, and complained that umpiring was poor. According to him, Australia was denied a few penalty corners because of that. Also, the afternoon heat was affecting the players.
This match had put both teams in difficult positions. Korea is now out of contention. Australia, on the other hand, must win New Zealand in their next match this Saturday, to book a place in the finals.
Final score was Australia 3, Korea 3. View (and buy) high quality photos of this match at Sports Media Group Australia.
