Lost World of Tambun Xmasaurus Celebration
Dinosaurs are coming back to life this school holiday-cum-Christmas season at the Lost World of Tambun in Ipoh! LWOT will be turned into Xmasaurus Land in November and throughout December, so head over to the theme park for a Merry Prehistoric Christmas, when Santasaur comes to town.
A few days ago, yours truly and some media friends were given a preview of the line-up of activities and performances during Xmasaurus Celebration. So, today, I have some photos to share with you. But, remember, it was only a preview – there are certainly more pursuits planned for visitors to the theme park.
Xmasaurus Celebration begins on 26th Nov, 2016 until 1st Jan, 2017. During this period, the Dinosaur Alive show will be performed daily at 2pm and 4.30pm. Do note that some of the activities are held every day, some are only available during weekends. And then there will be Yuletide-themed activities and performances over the Christmas weekend.
Of course, there will also be other attractions within the theme park to enjoy, like the Giraffe & Friends section. Say ‘hello’ to Rain the Giraffe and his friends, the two zebras and an ostrich. You may even get to feed Rain!
This school holiday, Lost World of Tambun is on the lookout for children who are brave enough to be part of their tribe of warriors. The programme is named Camping Under The Stars, to be held from 2nd to 4th December, 2016.
Open to kids aged 8 to 14 years old, they will have the opportunity to spend 3 days – 2 nights in the company of heroes whilst forging long lasting kinship with fellow warriors. Price is RM388 or RM300 (Lost World of Tambun Junior Ranger) per child.
Do note that tickets to the theme park are sold online at a 10% discount. Every purchase comes with a complimentary photobook voucher worth RM79. Terms & conditions apply.
Oh by the way, what is the best way to go to the Lost World of Tambun? Check out my post for information on the Free Shuttle Bus to the theme park from Ipoh city centre.
