Friends wanted to know why I write so many blogs. Well, I write just for fun to express myself since working for myself, I hardly have the chance to interact with real people. Besides, I do not need to spend a fortune hosting my own blogs. I just need to renew my domain names and pay an annual low-priced hosting plan.

However, for people who want to seriously go into blogging or to make money from blogs, they should check out Upstart Blogger, especially their 25 Steps to Launching Your Blog and Making $100+ A Month in 30 Days. I wrote about this back in January, 2008.
Upstart Blogger has a wealth of information on how to make money blogging, beginning from how to set up a blog. Personally, I find the theme of Upstart Blogger extremely confusing so I cannot imagine what people who are not as web-savvy, people who are in my parents’ generation, would feel navigating through Upstart Blogger. These are the people who most need the knowledge in setting up a blog from scratch and making a success out of it and it would be more helpful if Upstart Blogger is more user-friendly.

As you know, I have just started my 16th blog, eleven of which are WordPress powered blogs and I tell you, I have just about surfed to all websites that offer free WordPress themes. Yes, I only look for free WordPress themes, or free Premium WordPress themes. Hehe It really is so difficult to find free WordPress themes that meet my standards and I do have very high standards indeed!

Today, I went to Blog Oh! Blog to download my favorite PopBlue 3-column theme and Jai, the owner of Blog Oh! Blog has added quite a few free as well as Premium WordPress themes to his database. If you have been looking for WordPress themes, do check out Blog Oh! Blog. You know what, despite its popularity, I only discovered it last year. Have I been living under a stone or something?
Besides offering Free, Premium and Custom WordPress themes, Jai also writes about other WordPress issues, like the recent development of WordPress platform which I whole-heartedly agree with him how WP v2.3 is way friendlier and accessible than WP v2.5, and an eBook on SEO for beginners which I just downloaded. I MAY own many blogs but they are not SEO-ified so I definitely need this eBook.
Blog #17 is in the works and I will be checking Blog Oh! Blog once again for the free WordPress themes. Hope there will be more to choose from then!

Many people have asked what my typical work day is like and my standard reply has been, “You don’t want to know!” LOL How convenient. Well, Fuel My Blog and TSheets.com are running a contest with an iPod up for grabs so I am attempting to put the first five minutes of my typical work day into words.
What I do every morning when I start my work day is to turn on my computer, if it is not already switched on, or restart the computer and check my email. I have four active email accounts. At the same time, I fire up three web browsers and open multiple tabs from my Favorites. I have three folders of links that I must check daily, sometimes multiple times a day.
The first folder has links to seven websites, the second folder has fifteen and the third folder has sixteen. Yes, for the purpose of this post, I actually counted LOL and yes, I do read through all these 38 sites, blogs or forums and at the same time, check my eBay and Lelong listings for bids and feedback. Did I get a negative feedback?
I would also be replying to the important email, private messages and SMS messages.
Am I able to do all these in the first five minutes of my work day? Yes, if there is no new content in most of my Favorite sites, no email and SMS messages to reply to!
What about YOUR first five minutes of a typical work day?
