USB On-The-Go: Best Thing Since Sliced Bread

Since upgrading my smartphone to one that supports USB On-The-Go, I don’t think I can live with a phone without this feature.

I carry a couple of USB OTG sticks with me all the time, I have two at home, and I also keep one at my work desk. I use them like how one would use an ordinary thumb drive.

I remember how it was such a huge deal to even buy a miserable 2GB thumb drive back in the day. It was so expensive (for me), that I would need to consider and reconsider before making a purchase.

These days, I find myself buying one USB OTG after another; it is sort of like an addiction because I don’t think I can have enough of them. They are so convenient to use. Besides, I need to catch up with technology advancement as they become larger (in storage) and faster (in transfer speeds).

My latest procurement, SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive M3.0 64GB is only selling at RM55 each during Lazada’s Online Revolution. Will the price drop any further? I’m not going to hold my breath for it. A discount of 38% resulting in a saving of RM34 is good enough for me.
