National Stud Malaysia
National Stud Malaysia is not only a breeding facility but also a retirement home and a retreat for horses. Race horses are sent here for “vacation”; to rest and not work. The correct term is actually “spelling”. Good life, eh?
Unlike in the West where going to the races is a family social outing, in Malaysia, horse-racing is unfortunately synonymous with gambling. Perhaps it’s time to change our perception?

Hi Farhana,
The National Stud Farm is unfortunately, no longer in operation.
Hi, Emily.
I visited NSF sometimes in 2001. Very unfortunate that the farm is no longer there. I would like to know what happened to the stallion named REB. Where is he now?.
Thanks.
Good morning Emily. How do I get in touch with someone at the Studfarm. I tried calling but couldn’t get through.
