My Pet, My Friend
This pet fair-cum-adoption drive was organised by the United Youth Movement of Malaysia (Pertubuhan Gerakan Belia Bersatu Malaysia), in collaboration with ISPCA. It was held over two days but I only managed to drop by on the second day as I was on vacation.
Anyway, I managed to play with some dogs who were still around. Spent some time trying to get a decent shot of these dogs. Not easy, you know! Anyway, at this “pet fair”, there were booths selling pet food and other accessories while ISPCA was there to try to find homes for their dogs and cats and to try to get some financial sponsorship to run their shelter.
There was also an animal art competition where students from Artgene Studio, based in Bercham, Ipoh, produced artistic pieces with an animal theme. These were all later exhibited.
