Prior to the flag off of Malaysia Tourism Hunt 2012, participants were taken on a brief tour of the art gallery at the Ministry of Tourism.

This ministry is probably the only one in the world with an art gallery; not just any kind but one that features artwork by Malaysian artists only. Work in display include paintings, custom-made shoes and art installations.

I don’t have much of an opinion on these, as to appreciate art, one would need more time. However, this is indeed a place to visit for art lovers, especially for those who would like to specifically see Malaysian talent and how far we have come.
